Malibu’s Beaches Too Crowded?

May 29, 2018

If you are one of the many who think that the traffic and crowds that flock to Malibu is getting worse you might find this photo interesting. This is Zuma Beach in the late 1950’s and you can see there is not a parking space or inch of sand available. Malibu has always been a popular destination for locals and people from the surrounding suburbia. In 1960 the population of LA County was 6,000,000 as of 2016 it was 10,200,000 and those figures do not include Ventura County. The population of California has gone from 15,700,000 in 1960 to over 37,000,000 today. If you think beach traffic is bad today just wait it will only get worse. The beach is the last free family activity available to most people and the best way to beat the heat of global warming. So get out there early and claim your Malibu real estate in the sand because it will continue to be a popular location as it always has been. Zuma Beach 1950’s Malibu.
